Garmin's TXi series of touchscreen displays have quickly found a home in thousands of general aviation panels. With bright displays, easy-to-use menus, and powerful features, they are the new standard for retrofit glass cockpits. This interactive TXi Essentials eLearning course provides initial instruction on the fundamental operation of these highly capable systems. Pilots who complete this course will be able to confidently complete standard tasks encountered during a flight, from preflight tests to in-flight navigation. You can access the courseware immediately from Sporty's Pilot Training platform: online, iOS app, Android app, AppleTV and RokuTV.

Learn at Your Own Pace

The TXi Essentials eLearning course brings the Pilot’s Guide to life with videos, animations, and tips and tricks. The course takes you logically through the features of the TXi system and provides demonstrations of some commonly used techniques.

Throughout the course, commonly used methodologies will be shown for successfully using this system in flight. A Garmin flight scenario will be presented in the Course Conclusion to give you a chance to see the system in action. This course is intended to be used alongside with the free TXi PC Trainer available for download.

The course is divided into 10 lessons with "bite-sized" videos that enable you to tailor your studying and maximize the time you have available. The course allows each user to pause, as necessary, and seamlessly resume a lesson. You can re-take the entire course or specific lessons as often as you want.
